Design matters. The threads on our adapter increases safety and performance by gripping the reel sprocket vs a smooth adapter design.
Our backlap kits are designed to be used with a standard drill. This is another exclusive product from Reel Rollers and enables you to perform your own sharpening between relief grinds. Backlapping will not work on reels with a flat edge, only relief ground edges. Our newest design now allows you to use the same backlap adapter for both McLane and California Trimmer mowers. The circle holes are used for McLane brands and the square holes are used for California Trimmer.
